“Mother” lyrics by Pink Floyd handwritten in a variant of the Foundational alphabet
India ink manually mashed up on Fabriano Artistico paper (300 gsm), 120 x 25 cm (47.24 x 9.84 in), in a matte black wood frame with anti-reflex glass.
Upon request by a client, I handwrote parts of the song “Mother” by Pink Floyd in a variant of the Foundational alphabet, originally developed by Edward Johnston, with an automatic pen.
This has been one of the largest calligraphic worksheets I have ever worked on. Of course, not taking into account any of my calligraphic graffitis on street walls and public places.
