You woke up today to find yourself in the other place
I made this book and interactive CD completely on my own for my first individual photo exhibition: “You woke up today to find yourself in the other place” I used macro photography to show what is beyond human visual perception, a more abstract and surrealistic sphere of the elements cohabiting with us.
In the book, I included the visitors’ feedback. I produced and edited very particular dark ambient sounds catching visitors’ senses in a suspense and abstraction atmosphere.
With such interactive editorial book (both for Mac-PPC and Windows-PC), I created a visual dialog empowering the daily photographic visual experience. With the techniques I used, I showed what is beyond human visual perception, a more abstract and surrealistic sphere of the elements cohabiting with us.
To create a context for visual communication, I designed a subtle layout and carefully selected the images that would be shown. Some small type sized words related to the target concept were disseminated both on pages and on screens. This enabled to strictly control the visual story and navigation through it, apart from bringing consistency.
